The Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is situated lake-side on the 45-acre Barefoot Bay, in the midst of a 200 tropically landscaped 200-acre site. The Caribbean Beach Resort was designated by the Florida Green Lodging Program, in behalf of its environmental practices and it is located near Epcot theme park, Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park and Disney’s BoardWalk area. Complimentary shuttle service is provided to destinations throughout Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, Disney water parks and Orlando International Airport.

There are 6 villages - the Trinidads, Martinique, Barbados, Aruba and Jamaica which are spread out over the 200 acre grounds. The villas are 2-story pastel buildings surround their own villa’s swimming pool, all located around the white-sand beaches of Barefoot Bay. Smoking is permitted is specifically designated outdoor areas only. There is a Barefoot Bay footbridge which takes you to Caribbean Cay, which is a winding nature trail and playground. There are games and play area for young children and a video game and pinball arcade for older children. The Old Port Royale pool is designed as a Spanish fortress, which was also a movie set for "Pirates of the Caribbean."

safe. Each villa offers views of the resort hotel, courtyard, water or woodlands. Wheelchair-accessible rooms are available.

Dining at the Florida Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort

The Grab N Go Market offers fresh baked pastries in the morning and fresh fruit and ice cream throughout the day. Montego’s Deli offers American cuisine from pancakes and French toast to soups, deli-style sandwiches and New York-style cheesecake. The Old Port Royale Food Court has a variety of fast-food favorites including hamburgers, pizza, pasta and specialties of 5 different food outlets. Casual dining at Shutter’s Old Port Royale offers American and Asian cuisine with a a tropical twist.

While staying at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort you do not need to drive your car. Shuttle and bus transportation is provided to the theme parks and the airport. The resort main lobby is referred to as the Custom House and is a tropical pavilion for registering. The Concierge desk is located at the Custom House and at Old Port Royale, where you can purchase Disney Theme Park and Disney Water Park tickets and make dining reservations and secure show seats.
